Meet claire day
I’m a Perth girl, born and bred. When I was growing up, we went to the beach every chance we got. I remember sandy feet and sunburned shoulders, eating icy poles and salty chips.
Now I get to be at the beach most evenings while I capture images of you, with my feet in the sand and watching the incredible sunset each night. I have my dream job. If I could go back to a younger Claire and tell her my job now - she would be in awe. I live my life on purpose every single day and I think you can see this in the photos I take.

On the right is a photo of me with my family, my two sons and terribly cute Golden Retriever puppy, Ocean. My family is a huge driver and inspiration for what I do and I am so incredibly blessed to be their mum and guide them in this world.

Why photography ignites my passion
I am a mum to two sons. I started photography because I loved capturing my kids doing their thing. Whatever it was that was lighting them up in that moment, I wanted to capture it. What I realised was that authentic moments lit up my screen far more than a photo where I asked for a smile.
I bring this same approach to all of my sessions, giving some direction but letting you create authentic moments for me to capture.
I get absolute joy out of every photo I take and want to share that with you.
